I've been working on color correction on most of the videos I edit, but the past couple years, I've been focusing hard on honing in on these skills. I joined the Virtual Lincoln Project team at University of North Carolina Asheville to help out with compositing and color correction. The Virtual Lincoln Project is seeking to create a 3D animation of former president Abraham Lincoln giving the famous Gettysburg Address. This is not the sole purpose though. We are striving to create the most lifelike and photorealistic representation of how that scene looked that day. This means every detail has been modeled by the team over the course of the past few years. As realism is the goal, correct color is very important, and that's where I come in. The project is still in pre-production stage, so I've only worked on a few test shots to work on color and feel. I hope you enjoy!
